Boss Day
National Boss Day is observed annually on October 16. Nonetheless, if it falls on a weekend day, the day is then observed on the working day closest to the 16th. The day is observed worldwide to depict the positive reception of ideas, morale boosts, instructions, work and orders from the people at the higher rank then us at the workplace.
History
The Boss Day was started in 1958 when Patricia Bays Haroski, an Illinois secretary at he State Farm Insurance Company, registered the holiday with the Chamber of Commerce of the United States . Strangely enough, no official reason like having an exceptionally wonderful boss or Haroski being a super-competent secretary is behind the origin of the day. She was actually an indebted daughter who worked for her dad and whose birthday was dated on October 16. And to be an evidence for her respect towards her father, the National Bosses Day was constituted.
