The New Year is an occurrence observed ever year when a cultured civilization celebrates the closing stage of one year and initiation of the next. History

Vishu in Kerala: same day as The Tamil New Year
The Telugu New Year and the advent of Lunar year: same day in the month of March or April
The Bengali New Year called Pohela Baisakh on April 14 or 15
